Non-ferrous metals
Focusing on the specific needs of our existing and potential customers, thyssenkrupp Materials Bulgaria is constantly developing its stock program and services. We are taking steps to extend our product portfolio towards other non-ferrous metals important for the industry. In cooperation with recognized manufacturers we started to serve our customers in addition to aluminum also with copper and brass products.
Aluminum
Aluminum is the most commonly used and commercially available non-ferrous metal. Its light weight and high strength-to-weight ratio make it a good choice for everything from aircraft to flashlights to jigs to just about anything else you can make out of metal. thyssenkrupp Materials Bulgaria sources aluminum globally using the world-wide supplier thyssenkrupp network.
Copper
Copper and its alloys are some of the oldest metallic elements. Although the purification of copper requires significant amounts of electricity, uses were found for its many alloys and variants. The copper metals category can roughly be segregated into three separate groups: copper alloys, brass, and bronze. The term copper alloy is generally applied when the material is primarily made of copper, as opposed to brass, which is a mixture of copper and zinc, or bronze, where the alloy is copper plus (usually) tin and possibly some other element, like aluminum or manganese.
