thyssenkrupp Materials Bulgaria operates two service centers and systematically extends its service capabilities to its customers. As a leading supplier for the consuming industry in Bulgaria, we offer a broad variety of cutting services and constantly extend our capabilities in order to keep up with the increasing demands.

In Ruse, the company operates a cut to length line for cutting hot rolled coil into sheets from 2,0 mm up to 12,0 mm, width 2000 mm. The service center also includes a cut to length line for cold rolled and galvanized coils from 0,3 mm up to 2,5 mm, width 1500 mm.

Another service center for cutting hot rolled coil into sheets from 2,0 mm up to 5,0 mm, width 1500 mm is located in Sofia. This service center includes a cut to length line for cutting cold rolled and galvanized coils from 0,5 mm up to 2,0 mm. An extension of the service activities, including an extension of the production halls and installation of a cut to length line for cutting stainless steel coil from 0,4 mm up to 6,0 mm in 2000 mm width is currently planned.

As a leading supplier to the stainless steel industry in Bulgaria, thyssenkrupp Materials Bulgaria plans to extend the services offered in stainless steel. In Sofia thyssenkrupp Materials Bulgaria operates a carbon steel service center, which we plan to extend with additional stainless steel services. The extension of the production halls includes the installation of a grinding and foiling line for sheets from 0,4 mm up to 4,0 mm.

Slitting services designed specifically to customer demands are another part of the broad variety of services offered from thyssenkrupp Materials Bulgaria. The company operates a slitting line for cold rolled and galvanized material from 0,3 mm up to 2,5 mm, width 1500 mm at the location in Ruse.

thyssenkrupp Materials Bulgaria offers its customers a broad range of tool steels in different grades and dimensions. In order to cover the customer requirements for additional value added services in special steels, we established a sawing center in the location in Plovdiv. The sawing center offers sawing of special steels up to 660 mm. This development is part of the continuous improvement of our service capabilities.
